After 15 years at Las Vegas Sports Consultants, the world's largest
independent oddsmaking firm, I’ve launched my own independent service to
work with sports book operators around the world.
I was born in Havana, Cuba in 1964 and moved to the U.S. in 1970. My family
decided to settle in Las Vegas in 1971, where I graduated from Las Vegas
High School in 1983.
After two years of studying architectural drafting at a local trade school,
I knew my calling was working with numbers, but not square footage. I made a
calculated career move and joined Jim Feist Sports in 1986. Within the first
year, I became an assistant manager for the Line Tracker service, while also
making selections and overnight lines.
In 1989, Michael "Roxy" Roxborough, who owned Las Vegas Sports Consultants,
and was considered the preeminant oddsmaker of his day, gave me an
opportunity to work for his company. I learned the trade directly from Roxy,
where my talents were quickly recognized throughout the industry. It wasn't
long before Roxy depended on my oddsmaking skills and in 1995, I was
promoted to Odds Manager. All daily wagering lines were reviewed by me, and
I had the final word on just about everything that left the office.
I’m excited to offer my personal services to the gaming industry and know
that I can provide your company with valuable information every day.
